Edit Details for Existing Applications

  1. On the Apps page, click the application to be edited. This opens the OEM App dialog. Notice that there are three sub-tabs on the page – App Details, SSO Provider. and Adopted Partner Services:

  1. Click EDIT on the Apps Details tab.
  2. Edit any of the information, as described below:
  • Application Name - you can change the name of the application.
  • Application ID - cannot be edited.
  • Application Secret - cannot be edited.
  • For Models, you can change a model number or add new ones for the Ayla module in Models:
    1. Click the Plus icon to add a model.
    2. Click the Trash Can icon to delete a model.
  • Cloud to cloud checkbox - not used at this time.
  • Use sandbox for apns (which stands for Apple Push Notification Service) - you can select the checkbox to connect to Apple’s sandbox environment.

NOTE

If you change your selection to this checkbox, allow one minute after clicking CREATE for the result to take effect.
  • Super Application checkbox - not used at this time.
  • APNSApple Push Notification Service PEMPrivacy Enhanced Mail - you can enable this service by adding a PEM file as follows:
    1. Click the Plus icon to open the embedded dialog box for adding this service, which is shown below:

    1. Enter a name for this APNS PEM.
    2. Click Choose File, browse to and select the file.
    3. Enter a passphrase for this APNS PEM.
    4. Click CREATE to add the APNS PEM to the App Details. Click CANCEL to close this dialog box without saving.

If you have already enabled the service, you can edit your information by deleting or downloading new PEM files, as follows:

  1. Click Trash Can icon to delete.
  1. Click Download icon to download new file.
  • Baidu App API Key - this is for China only.
  • Baidu App API Secret - this is for China only.
  1. Click UPDATE to add the edited application entry to the list on the Apps page. Or, click CANCEL to close the OEM App dialog box without saving any of the new information entered.
